Between 2006 and 2014 Euroenergy significantly contributed to the activities of the investor ČEZ, a.s. in a preparatory phase of the Temelin nuclear power plant construction (Unit 3 and 4). It was especially cooperation on feasibility study preparation and on elaboration of tender documentation and bids evaluation manual including price benchmark of evaluated proposals. Among other activities, it is necessary to mention continuous updating of the project schedule and project financing.
Very extensive feasibility study of ETE 3,4 construction was drafted in the years 2006 to 2007 and was the result of an international consortium cooperation (composed of following companies: ČEZ, a.s.; ÚJV Řež, a.s., Empresarios Agrupados, S.A. a Euroenergy, spol. s r.o.). This feasibility study analyzed the ETE 3,4 construction in terms of technical solution, construction site, contract approaches, project management, time schedule, financing and economic analysis. Euroenergy was responsible for the whole project management, coordination of feasibility study elaboration, commenting of individual chapters, providing of inputs and elaboration of the chapters “Financing”, “Economic Analysis” and “Conclusions and Recommendations”.
In the period 2008 – 2013 Euroenergy worked intensively with the Spanish company Empresarios Agrupados, S.A. and ČEZ, a.s. to prepare a tender for the supplier of ETE 3,4 construction. It was a comprehensive preparation of tender documentation (“Bid Invitation Specifications”) according to the world’s best practice and preparation of “Bids Evaluation Procedures Manual”. Euroenergy was responsible for commercial and economic evaluation of bids and for training of ČEZ evaluators.
Expert works for ČEZ were finished in 2014 with price benchmark of proposals of companies that remained in tender.
