New trends in the energy sector
Energy sector has been undergoing a dynamic development in the last years, which is characterised by the effort for decarbonisation and increase in energy efficiency.
Decentralization that is linked with stricter requirements for measurement and regulation and in the case of utilization of intermittent RES also with the need for accumulation is observed in both power and heating sectors.
In addition, planned development in the field of clean mobility or waste-to-energy is the hot topic in the Czech Republic.
Euroenergy participates in the most important strategic projects (National Action Plan for Smart Grids, National Action plan for Clean Mobility) from the early beginnings of smart technologies’ development in the Czech republic, thanks to which it has a considerable familiarity with above stated areas.
- Opportunity studies, pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies
- Formation and coordination of strategic documents in the above stated areas
- Management of strategic documents formation (National Action Plans, energy strategies)
- Market analyses
- Analyses in the field of smart technologies (cost-benefit analyses)
- Technical-economic evaluation of planned projects
Our clients are subjects, which play an important role in the energy sector, as well as plant operators or consumers.
National Action Plan for Clean Mobility (NAP CM)
This project consisted in expert assistance during the formation of National Action Plan for Clean Mobility. Main topics that have been addressed were current and future state of transportation and the development of the Czech Republic’s car fleet, legislative framework, and the development in the field of electromobility and gas mobility. Furthermore, key conditions for the development of individual kinds of clean mobility have been set (action plan).
Feasibility study of automated metering management in the Czech power sector
Feasibility study of automated metering management in the Czech power sector included primarily an impact assessment of the implementation of modern measuring systems in terms of the Czech power and gas sectors.
National Action Plan for Smart Grids
The objective of this project was an expert assistance, administration and coordination of National Action Plan for Smart Grids, which includes a description of the Czech and EU’s legislative framework, balance of the Czech power system and its flexibility taking into account the new technologies.
Furthermore, market model and its possible transformation as well as current and possible future model of regulation including tariffs were addressed.
